Over the course of years of entering sweepstakes I've learned and come up with a lot of tips and other things to help your chances of winning sweepstakes. Here they are and this will be updated over time!
Make a dedicated email address just for sweepstakes.
Depending on how many sweepstakes you enter you could end up receiving hundreds of emails (a lot of sponsors require you to sign up for newletters) so you won't want these mixing in with your regular email.
Make the most use of your time.
If you don't have the time to enter sweepstakes everyday you are better off focusing on single entry and instant win entries. Let's say you have time to enter sweepstakes every few days. On the ones you can enter daily someone who has time to do so will be racking up entries while you only have a few in. Your odds are better when everyone has the same chances.
Use your email filters.
You probably already know that you can create new email folders. What you may not know is that you can also filter certain emails directly into them. For example: I have a folder that is called "Maybe Wins" and have set my email filters so that when i get an email with the word "Congratulations" or "you've won" in it, or in the title, it is automatically moved to that folder. This makes it much easier to sort through what could be a winning notification. You may need to Google how you can set up filters for your specific provider but they are definitely a time saver.
